wtf is neural therapy?
Neural Therapy:
Neural therapy is an injection technique that is profoundly helpful for detoxification, pain, scar healing, and nervous system dysregulation. Small injections using procaine (a local anesthetic similar to the novocaine you get at the dentist) are administered to scars, acupuncture points, trigger points, and other areas of dysfunction called interference fields. Interference fields disrupt the healthy communication of the nervous system and contribute to organ system dysfunction and chronic illness. Stress, disease, injury, scars, dental work, and emotional trauma can disrupt the normal firing of nerves and create these interference fields.
Neural therapy restores healthy functioning of the autonomic nervous system, the part of the nervous system that is responsible for unconscious behaviors: breathing, circulation and blood pressure, digestion, heart rate, and immune function.
When a person is in pain or struggling with chronic illness, they are often in a sympathetic (“fight or flight”) state. Neural therapy works to promote a parasympathetic (“rest, digest, and detox”) state of being, which is crucial for healing.
How It Works:
Trauma and toxicity disrupt the normal action potential firing of nerves, causing them to become aggravated. The procaine injections function as a “reset button” to re-establish healthy nerve firing. Neural therapy also promotes lymphatic flow, which aids in tissue healing and supports detoxification.

What It Feels Like:
Injections are performed with very small needles (30G), so pain is kept to a minimum. Common side effects include sweating, dizziness or lightheadedness, and sometimes a wonderful sense of bliss. Side effects typically last about 15 minutes. Of course, as with any injection, there is always a risk of bruising. Bruises usually clear up in a few days.
